BIOTECanada works to provide solutions to the challenges faced by biotech firms today and to get the domestic and international community to recognize the value of biotechnology. BIOTECanada has more than 250 members, representing companies from the health, industrial, and agricultural sectors.

CAMM was established in 1981 to advocate on behalf of moldmakers, designers, manufacturers, suppliers, and service companies across Canada and North America. CAMM addresses issues that affect moldmaking companies in such matters as global and legislative issues, new technology and education, and training programs.

CAPP is the voice of Canada’s upstream oil and natural gas industry. Representing a membership that generates about $101 billion a year in national revenue and produces close to 80% of Canada’s oil and natural gas, CAPP helps advocate for economic competitiveness and for a safe, environmentally and socially responsible industry.

Since 1958, CCSPA has been representing companies that manufacture, market, process, package and distribute consumer, industrial and institutional specialty products. With annual exports of more than $1 billion, CCSPA has 45 member companies in 120 facilities across the nation.

The Canadian Corrugated and Containerboard Association (formerly Paper Packaging Canada) advances policies that promote a strong and sustainable paper packaging industry in the global marketplace. The association is building on its current statistical programs, providing members with access to a broad range of reports with critical market information.

The Canadian Die Casters Association holds a membership consisting of major metal die casters operating plants in Canada. The association assists and represents Canadian die casters in dealing with government and other interested parties on industry-specific issues by communicating information to members to help them remain competitive.

The Canadian Fertilizer Institute represents manufacturers, wholesale and retail distributors of nitrogen, phosphate and potash fertilizers. It promotes safe, responsible, and sustainable, globally competitive fertilizer production, distribution and use.

CFPA works for its members to promote fluid power technology and applications and educate the marketplace of its benefits. With members like Arrow Fluid Dynamics, BDI Canada Inc. and Design Product News, CFPA provides a forum for the exchange of information on all subjects of common interest to members and develops standards of performance and procedures for testing.

The Canadian Foundry Association is the national voice for the foundry association, assisting and representing its members to deal with government on industry-specific issues and areas of common interest. CFA gathers information and initiates programs that assist members in strengthening their competitive positions.

The Canadian Fuels Association represents the industry that supplies 95 per cent of Canada’s transportation fuels. The CFA is uniquely positioned as experts on the complex issues surrounding Canada’s transportation fuels future.

The CGPA represents the Canadian-based generic pharmaceutical industry: a dynamic group of companies specializing in the production of high quality, affordable generic drugs, fine chemicals and new chemical entities. The industry provides safe, proven alternatives to more expensive brand name prescription drugs.

Since 1968, CHHMA has advocated for its 200-plus members, hosted numerous business functions, social events and networking opportunities that have brought significant value to its members. Member companies, like Philips Lighting and Bissell Canada Corporation, manufacture and distribute hardware and housewares products.

The Canadian Institute of Steel Construction promotes good design and safety, as well as the efficient, economical and sustainable use of structural steel. Its wide array of members include companies like Eskimo Steel Ltd. and C.W. Carry (1967) Ltd.

CME is Canada’s largest trade and industry association and the voice of manufacturing and global business in Canada. CME directly represents more than 10,000 leading companies nationwide. Its membership network accounts for an estimated 82 per cent of Canadian manufacturing production and 90 per cent of goods and services exports.

The Canadian Nuclear Association (CNA) is a non-profit organization established in 1960 to represent the nuclear industry in Canada and promote the development and growth of nuclear technologies for peaceful purposes. CNA is currently led by President & CEO Denise Carpenter.

Since 1913, the Canadian Paint and Coatings Association (CPCA) has represented Canada’s major paint and coatings manufacturers, and their industry suppliers and distributors in three primary product categories: architectural paints, industrial products and automotive coatings. In Canada, CPCA members have more than 261 paint manufacturing establishments, own more than 3,000 retail outlets, supply products to another 4,000 retail stores, more than 5,000 auto body shops as well as the large OEM manufacturers of automobiles, planes and other heavy equipment. This represents annual retail sales of more than $10 billion, employing directly and indirectly 31,800 employees.

The Canadian Plastics Industry Association (CPIA) is the voice of the Canadian plastics industry and represents approximately 3,200 companies employing more than 91,000 workers. Canada’s $26.3-billion plastics industry is a sophisticated, multi-faceted sector encompassing plastic products manufacturing, machinery, moulds, and resins.

CPIA is the national voice of the pre-press, press and allied printing industries in Canada. Since 1939, the association has served as the collective body to represent the interests of its member firms, like Informco, PDI Inc. and Unicom Graphics, for policy formation, regulation and legislation.

CHP Canada is the industry association that represents the companies that make evidence-based over-the-counter medicines and natural health products. These are the products you can find in medicine cabinets in every Canadian home. From sunscreens and vitamins to pain relievers and allergy medications, people use consumer health products to maintain their health and manage their minor ailments. This is a fundamental part of self-care, which is vital to the health of Canadians and the sustainability of our health care system.

Together, EFC’s four councils represent over 330 member companies that manufacture, distribute and service electrical and electronics products in Canada. Products manufactured, distributed and serviced by members include household appliances, lighting, consumer electronics, communications and electronic equipment, cabling, industrial equipment, and many others.

As the voice of Canada’s medical technology companies, MEDEC is committed to effective advocacy through leadership and engagement. In delivering this mission, MEDEC represents the key interests of its members and is a trusted resource to influential stakeholders.

The Metals Service Center Institute (MSCI) supports and represents most elements of the metals value chain, including metals producers, distributors, and processors and, to a lesser extent, the interests of metals users. MSCI has more than 400 members operating from about 1,500 locations in the US, Canada and Mexico.

NTEA – The Association for the Work Truck Industry represents companies in the US, Canada and five other countries that manufacture, distribute, install, sell and repair commercial trucks, truck bodies, truck equipment, trailers and accessories. Buyers of work trucks and the major commercial truck chassis manufacturers also belong to the NTEA. The Association provides in-depth technical information, education, and member programs and services, and produces The Work Truck Show®.

PMPA is a North American precision machining trade association that provides the critical information and services to its member companies who make precision engineered, often safety critical components for automotive, aerospace, medical, electrical machinery, fluid power, and other industries. We provide information on a wide variety of technical, operational, financial, and regulatory subjects including safety and environment.

The Railway Association of Canada advocates for and represents the key commuter, goods, tourist and intercity Canadian Rail businesses as well as a growing number of Associate Members in the rail supply and industrial rail operator sectors. Member railways include Amtrak, ArcelorMittal Mines Canada, CN and VIA Rail Canada Inc.
